Checking in…

Hello Friends….

Your old pal Solace here…just thought I’d drop a line and check in since it’s been a little while.  The lovely summer Seattle weather has me frolicking about more often, which is nice, and I’m also staying busy!  There’s a lot of commission work on my plate right now which is awesome…but due to the sensitivity of these projects, I can’t give away too much right yet!

Probably the biggest news lately is that my ass is finally putting my website together!!!  I’ve got loads of goodies to sift through and it’s been a blast taking a stroll down memory lane.  It’s been a LONG time coming and I’m really excited to finally put it out there!  Finally a one stop spot to see all things Solace!

Time to get organized…time to get busy…time to go!

…it’s the final countdown!

The show is only a couple of days away people!!!  I’m get’n my booty in gear obviously!…and since every second counts, the posts are gonna be pretty quick n dirty from here on out…

i started the day spending a small fortune at home depot, the fabric store, and the art store.

…and then i put some of them art supplies to use and planted a garden.

Greetings from the Sollywood Forest…

Oh, hey...You getting excited for the show?!? …I am!  …there’s going to be a special musical performance by Dead Hot!!!…I’m going to raffle off a few paintings! We’re gonna have a cocktail special! My family is gonna be there! What else do you need?!?!?

taming the beast…

Howdy all,

I did it! My first “photo real” attempt with spray paint…not terrible…i definitely wanna keep practicing!

the sensation of completion is overwhelming!

i was thinkin this fella would look cool with some lasers shooting out of his grill…

awe yeah!…it’s getting there…

it was hard to see what i was looking at with my nose so close to the piece…i had to keep looking back at the camera screen to see what it was really looking like

prep’n ain’t easy! …get a lil jump start on the next day…
